You will be magically taken back 2018 years at Memorial on Saturday & Sunday, December 15 & 16 between 6 & 8 pm as Memorial United Methodist presents its ninth annual Christmas Card to the Community featuring six inspiring scenes with live performers and music.
The 20-minute walk, with a shepherd guide, takes you on the path back in time to Bethlehem to experience and celebrate Christ’s birth. Bring your kids and grand kids to share in this homegrown celebration of Christmas and join in singing Christmas carols and warm up with hot beverages and snacks.
It’s all free and runs two nights Saturday, Dec. 15th, and Sunday, Dec 16th, from 6-8 pm – rain or shine. Arrive at Memorial anytime between 6 and 8 pm. Park in the lot entered from Scott Avenue (map) . As you walk in from the west parking lot (off of Scott Ave.), the Centurion will greet you to get you started on a wonderful journey through time.
Narration in Hmong, Korean and Spanish are available. Refreshments will be available after your walk through with a time to relax.
Be a part of it! Volunteer as a docent/shepherd, an actor for, wise men, shepherds, song leaders, Centurion, etc. A great opportunity for youth. Contact the church office.
